TRIART Inc. (located in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, represented by Kentaro Imazu) has released a significantly revised version, “MIIDEL7,” of its image comparison system, MIIDEL, starting from April 1, 2023. This new version includes expanded file type compatibility, enhanced page sorting function, multilingual support, color comparison support, and other new features.（The introduction page for “MIIDEL7” is available here）
What is MIIDEL?：
MIIDEL is an “image comparison system” that greatly improves work efficiency by using its unique AI to instantly detect changes that are often overlooked by the naked eye and display the differences by color when comparing old and new documents or checking for revisions. You can use it on a typical Windows-based PC without sending important data to the cloud. It has been adopted for drawing inspection in manufacturing and construction industries, as well as for document checks in local governments, with over 800 installations both domestically and internationally.
New features of MIIDEL7：
１）Support for DocuWorks and Microsoft 365 applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) files.
We have now added support for loading and comparing DocuWorks and Microsoft 365 application files (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), which have been frequently requested by many users. By supporting documents popular in office work, the range of scenarios where MIIDEL can be utilized has expanded even further.
２）The accuracy of the page rearrangement function has been improved.
We have further enhanced the “automatic rearrangement function” to match the order of pages between the new and old files. Now, in addition to the previous method of judging based on the overall view (silhouette) of the document, we can also examine the contents (elements) of the document to make judgments. This makes it easier to find corresponding pages, even for drawings that frequently undergo layout changes.
３）Multilingual support improves efficiency of international interworking
The user interface can now be switched between English, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified). Together with MIIDEL’s basic capability of performing difference checks even on documents in unreadable languages, it has become easier to work internationally. Users can now select the language during installation, allowing users from foreign language regions to use it from the beginning.
４）Support for detecting color differences
In addition to detecting differences in shapes and text as before, MIIDEL can now also detect differences in colors. You can now compare colored drawings and package design data, taking into account color information for comparison.
５）The cropping function, which was well-received, has been further enhanced.
In “MIIDEL 7,” we have further enhanced the cropping function, responding to customer feedback by adding new features and improving usability. you can now freely change color settings, scale, and resolution on a page-by-page basis, allowing for comparison processing in the most appropriate way for each page.
In addition to these new features, we have further improved speed and stability to enhance comfort and usability. We look forward to the broader utilization of MIIDEL by professionals across various industries and fields of work.
