TRIART will provide an on-demand bus operation system called “Yoko no Elevator,” in collaboration with Next Generation Business Division of TOYOTA MORTOR KYUSHU(hereinafter referred to as TOYOTA KYUSHU), for the “Mobility Support Service in Residential Complex” demonstration experiment undertaken by Oita City. This system is expected to become a new mobility solution for areas with increasing aging and dispersed populations by reducing unnecessary patrols through real-time dispatch of vehicles in response to passenger calls. This time, in Oita City, a demonstration experiment will be conducted for about one month with the aim of supporting the daily mobility needs of residents, such as shopping, medical visits, and connecting to route buses, in the Fujimi Gaoka residential complex.
The software provided by TRIART incorporates its unique distributed computing technology. By applying this system, which originated from industrial technology, to mechanisms that can be used by the general public in their daily lives and verifying its effectiveness, we expect to establish a more flexible and developmental foundation technology.
