Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. The solution has been in use at Toyota Motor Kyushu, and has now been enhanced with video recording and put into business use.
Toyota Kyushu and TRIART developed a secure camera solution using Apple iPhones that centrally manages everything from taking photos to viewing stored images. It was introduced on a trial basis in Toyota Motor Kyushu automobile production operations in April 2014. The system has now been enhanced to support video recording in addition to still photos.
Video files are much larger than still images, making it difficult to upload them to a dedicated server without leaving data on the recording device. The files must also be encrypted during transmission. TRIART applied its proprietary technology and expertise to server processing involving communication and implemented a feature that securely and reliably uploads videos to a dedicated server without leaving the recorded data on the device.
TRIART in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, took the lead on this solution as part of Toyota Motor Kyushu corporate vision to rediscover and make use of Kyushu strengths through regional collaboration.
