TRIART Inc. (location: Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Kentaro Imazu) released MIIDEL 6, a major update to the MIIDEL image and drawing comparison system, on April 1, 2022. New features include page matching, which automatically finds and sorts corresponding pages in old and new documents.
What is MIIDEL:
MIIDEL is an image and drawing comparison system that uses proprietary AI to instantly detect changes that are easy to miss by eye when comparing old and new documents or checking revisions. It displays differences in different colors and greatly improves work efficiency.
New features of MIIDEL6:
1) Equipped with automatic page matching function
In previous versions, matching pages between old and new documents was done manually, but with 'MIIDEL 6', automatic rearrangement can be done with a single button press. This greatly reduces the time and effort required; for example, matching 300 pages that used to take an hour can now be completed in seconds.
2) Equipped with line width adjustment function
Previously, when line thickness differed between old and new drawings, the drawing with thinner lines could be difficult to recognize, making changes hard to find. Now line thickness can be adjusted (optimized) before comparison, making changes easier to identify.
3) Multiple files can be compared simultaneously
Previously, only one pair of old and new files could be compared at a time, but 'MIIDEL6' allows batch comparison of multiple files.
4) Support for large-format documents
In response to frequent requests from manufacturing customers, MIIDEL now supports comparison of A0-sized drawings and even larger oversized data.
5) Equipped with loading resolution change function
If lines or text in loaded data appear blurred, resolution can be changed without reloading, enabling faster and more precise detection of changes.
