Joint participation in Oita City demonstration of a mobility support service for residential developments

TRIART will provide an on-demand bus operation system called “Sideways Elevator” with the Next-Generation Business Office of Toyota Motor Kyushu (hereinafter Toyota Kyushu) for Oita City demonstration of a mobility support service for residential developments. The system dispatches vehicles in real time when passengers call for a ride, reducing unnecessary routes. It is expected to offer a new mobility solution for areas where residents are aging and becoming more dispersed. In this demonstration, Oita City will test the service for about one month in the Fujimigaoka residential complex to support everyday trips, including shopping, medical visits, and transfers to local buses.
The software provided by TRIART uses our original distributed computing technology. By applying this system, developed for industrial technology, to a mechanism that the general public can use in everyday life and confirming its effectiveness, we hope to establish a more flexible and extensible foundational technology.
